Populace Coffee’s Butezi coffee from Burundi had a very different flavor from other coffees I have tried.  This coffee was a slightly darker roast than what I am used to so I was nervous at first that  I would not like the flavor. When brewed on the Chemex, I realized that this coffee was actually quite flavorful and tasty. It seemed that the more subtle flavors were not roasted away, but were only noticeable with certain brewing methods.
