Roasted in Portland, Maine, Tandem Coffee Roasters is a company whose coffee is growing in popularity. It can be found at little cafes across the U.S. such as Three Little Figs, Nine Bar Espresso, and occasionally at Three Brothers or online. I tried El Cielito a single origin coffee from Honduras. The second I took the first sip of this coffee I fell in love with the complexities of its flavor. At first the taste is bold and nutty, but the aftertaste is quite fruity leaving a sweetness in your mouth rather than any bitterness. This coffee is great for a calm morning as it evokes a feeling of relaxation with every sip.
