When it comes to Tatte’s coffee, I may be a little biased since I am a huge fan of Stumptown Roasters, which is served at this bakery. The latte has smooth foam and bold espresso which was comforting on the cold snowy day I first went to Tatte. Unfortunately, the iced coffee is pretty mediocre and leaves a bitter aftertaste, but now Tatte serves cold brew, so hopefully the bitterness issue is solved. This particular location is surounded by offices and filled with business people. During lunch and, to my surprise, at random hours of the day Tatte can get very packed. The salads and sandwiches are delicious, but on the pricey side. The prices definitely contribute to the formal feel of this bakery. Although it can be expensive, the delicious food and coffee keep people coming back.
